it looks like dakota suite will be playing five shows in japan in the fist two weeks of december this year!  my friend kei from vampillia has been arranging they shows which will see vampillia support us on all tours (i’m looking forward to seeing them again they are ace - vampillia.com).

I recently spent ten days in naples & the amalfi coast, I met emanuele for the first time and a great time was had by all.  we decided we need to record again, and have pencilled it in as a possibility for jan/feb 2011.

good news!  “the north green down”, the collaborative album by dakota suite and emanuele errante, is being released by lidar records.  we contacted lidar because we loved their two releases by jasper tx and the bersarin quartett.  lidar will be releasing “the north green down” in october 2010.

also out in october (yes I know!) is vallisa on glitterhouse records.  this is the recording of the live show I did with david darling (yes yes I know!) and the magnificent quentin sirjacq at the vallisa chapel in bari, italy.  just a beautiful evening captured on magnetic tape.  I’ll never experience anything like that again I reckon.  (sighs)
